REST web service

The REST web service is the basis for the integration of signoSign/Universal and must always be used to generate a Viewer instance, load a document and request the URL of the Viewer in order to display it in a browser or a web view. The appearance and behaviour of the Viewer instance can also be configured.

In addition, the web service offers functions to access the configured database.

The web service enables flexible integration with almost any programming language. signoSign/Universal does not require a direct connection to other systems; all data are exchanged via web interfaces.

If the developer tools of signoSign/Universal are activated, the application provides a Swagger UI under the URL signoSignUniversal/documentation/swagger-ui.jsp.
