Operating mode / connection types
signotec signature pads are available with various connection types (operating modes).
All models are available as HID-USB/WinUSB variants and can be connected locally via USB. The item numbers of these variants end in ‘U100’.
Various models with an internal USB-to-serial converter (FTDI chip) are available. This variant makes it possible to use the signature pad as a COM device in a virtual serial mode. These devices are specially designed for terminal server environments in order to use the device as a redirected local resource. The item numbers of these variants end in ‘FT100’.
As an option, the signotec Delta can also be supplied with an integrated Ethernet connection (RJ45).
