Licensing

On delivery, signoSign/Universal runs in demo mode and consequently watermarks are added to documents and signatures. A license is required for live use.

Licensing for signoSign/Universal is based on the following features:

• Host name of the server system

• max. number of CPU cores

• max. number of simultaneous accesses to the viewer

Reading out the host information

To enable signotec to create a license, the required information concerning host names and number of processors must be provided. These are displayed on the console when you start signoSign/Universal and are also logged.

Deposit license

The license is transmitted in electronic form (as a character string) and must be made available to the application, for example, via “settings.properties.” You can find more detailed information about this in the technical documentation.
