This documentation describes the essential system requirements and steps for the basic commissioning of signoSign/Universal on your own server (on-premises). The widely used Apache Tomcat servlet container is used as a simple example. Alternatively, the application can also be operated on other systems.
Please note that signoSign/Universal is supplied as a Web Application Resource (WAR). Many things for the secure operation of a web application, such as TLS settings, are not part of the signotec application, but of the application server or the servlet container. signotec can only provide limited support for system-specific settings.
