Connect the pad

The device has an interchangeable connection cable featuring two standardised USB Type-A plugs and an HDMI plug. These cables are typically used to facilitate both data transmission and power supply. Connect the HDMI plug and both USB plugs to a free port on the computer. Alternatively, only one USB port can be used by connecting the red plug to a USB power supply unit.

Please remove the protective film from the device’s display before using it.

Configuring the display

Please use the computer’s monitor settings and the signotec Pen Display Manager to configure the display, as described in the following section.

Troubleshooting

In an initial error analysis, the following points can be examined:

  1. Ensure that all specified drivers have been installed correctly.

  2. Ensure that the cable of the device is properly connected to the PC.

  3. Ensure that the computer’s USB port is active. Try another USB port if one is available.

  4. Ensure that you are using compatible software. Once the Pen Display is recognized as a monitor in the operating system and the mouse can be moved with the pen, the device has been fully installed. For use with third-party software, please contact the software vendor.
