Installation

signoSign/2 is supplied exclusively as an executable installation file (signotec_signoSign2_XX.XX.XX_64Bit.exe) via download. The dialog-based installation is started by executing the downloaded installation file. The installation requires local administrator rights and is carried out via the InstallShield wizard dialogs.

Installation steps

Installation of signoSign/2 involves the following steps:

  1. Language selection: German or English

  2. Welcome dialog

  3. Display and confirmation of the end user license agreement (EULA)

  4. Display and confirmation of the privacy policy

  5. Selection of the installation folder (default: C:\Program Files\signotec\)

  6. Selection of the setup type: Express or customized

  7. Confirmation of the start of the installation

  8. Installation completed

Express installation

The express installation does not contain any dialogs for selecting individual functions. A standard range of functions is installed. The default version includes all functions that are printed in bold in the following feature list.

If further functions are to be installed at a later date, the installation can simply be repeated by re-executing the setup file with a customized installation.

Customized installation

In the customized installation, you can select which functions of the software are to be installed and which are not. All functions in the following feature list can be selected in the user-defined installation.

Some functions require a paid license. It is recommended that you only install the functions that are covered by the license used.

Features

The following list contains all the features of the signoSign/2 installation. The features printed in bold are activated by default and are also installed during an express installation. The signoSign/2 program files are mandatory and cannot be deselected.

There are optional plug-ins that are not part of the main installation, e.g. the DATEVconnect plug-in. These must be installed separately.

Available Features

The Adobe Acrobat plug-in was renamed from “signotec DocumentTransfer” to “signotec signoSign/2 Transfer” in version 11.6.1.
